Progress Report on Bexley's Charter Oak - 5 years on

After two centuries of providing shade and nourishment to the residents of London’s Danson Park, Bexley’s Charter Oak was in need of some help. In 2017, two companies Carbon Gold and Apex Soil Solutions  able originally were asked team up to secure the life and rescue this ancient tree by using a revolutionary Geo-Injector technology that decompacted the soil around it while also feeding its roots with enriched biochar

Nine months later we returned back to see the results of our charteroak experience and to find whether to find their meticulous attention to detail and focus to improve the ground and roots within the boundary of the charteroak had paid off and has been successful – much like an old man given new life, The charming oak appeared vibrant once again!

in 2022 we went back again, and  was  with great pride that this majestic tree looked simply beautiful and was as healthy as ever – robustly rooting itself into history for many more years ahead!
