Back in 2007 Carbon Gold developed a range of products known as Grochar which turned any soil into rich, friable earth in just minutes. Our products are now better and have been improved and is now known as our Biochar products.

The whole range of products is the made of biochar, an organic porous, carbon-rich material made from sustainably harvested biomass. So instead of calling it Grochar, we changed the name to Carbon Gold Biochar.

When added to soil, Carbon Gold Biochar soil improvers, composts and fertilisers provide a thriving organic environment for beneficial bacteria and fungi to grow. This helps break down organic matter and nutrient-rich minerals present in the soil, making them available to plants. In addition to enhancing plant growth, Biochar also acts as a natural filter, trapping pollutants and greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide. So not only will your plants be healthier and better looking, but you’ll also be doing your part to help make the world a greener place.
