Biochar Soil Improver

You can use it as either a compost or soil additive or as a planting aid. By adding it to your compost or directly into the planting hole in the soil, you are introducing the long-term benefits of biochar, as well as giving the compost or soil a boost of the biology that helps ensure strong and productive plants.
It is easy to use. If you are propagating and potting on, we advise adding Biochar Soil Improver at a rate of 10% volume: that is one part biochar soil improver to ten parts compost/soil. That said, if you’re short on time, you can simply add a handful or two to the planting hole.

Biochar Tree Soil Improver

Biochar Tree Soil Improver is a compost or soil additive. So, when planting a new tree (or shrub etc) you can simply apply at a rate of one part biochar tree soil improver to ten parts compost/soil. If you are planting in a pot, then one litre of biochar tree soil improver will treat a 10 litre pot. If you are using around an existing tree, then simply incorporate into the soil around the base of the plant.

Biochar Lawn Improver

To revive those brown patches in your lawn you can use it as a surface dressing; simply fork the ground well and sweep the product into the holes. It can also be used as a base layer for new turf or when seeding.

Biochar Fertiliser

An organic, Soil Association approved, all-natural pelleted fertiliser made with biochar and plant-derived 5-5-5 NPK and other essential nutrients.

What is NPK?

Nitrogen (N) for active leaf and stem growth.
Phosphorus (P) for strong, healthy root systems.
Potassium (K) promotes vigorous flowers and fruit development.

Biochar Biology Blend

When potting add to compost when potting up plants, or cover roots of existing pots with a handful.
As a top dressing lightly fork into soil surface around plants.
When planting out add to the bottom of the hole before planting, or direct to soil.

Houseplant Booster

A specially formulated booster for your Houseplants, which is a combination of both our Biology Blend and fertiliser just for your Houseplants. Either use when repotting your houseplants, or alternatively just mix a small amount in your current potting soil around the stem of the plant.
