Biochar Soil Improver

Biochar Soil Improver is our core product from which all others are based, as such it’s a real Swiss Army Knife.

It promotes root development and resilient soil structure so is ideal whether you are growing veg, fruit, flowers, roses, shrubs, trees, or plants. It is FSC® certified and Soil Association approved for organic growing, although is commonly used by conventional as well as organic growers.

You can use it as either compost or soil additive or as a planting aid. By adding it to your compost or directly into the planting hole in the soil, you are introducing the long-term benefits of biochar, as well as giving the compost or soil a boost of the biology that helps ensure strong and productive plants.

Also available as part of our money-saving bundles.

  • By using Carbon Gold biochar, you can bring a physical and permanent change to your soil. It improves structure, aeration, water-holding capacity, and nutrient retention, and provides a refuge for beneficial microbes which we add to improve plant health.

Biochar locks carbon into the ground and so reduces CO2 being released into the atmosphere where it is harmful. So, by using biochar products you are not only gaining superb results with your growing but also reducing your carbon footprint at the same time.
