Improving Soil

Biochar Soil Improver is a highly effective soil improver that can help to improve soil health and fertility in a natural and sustainable way. Its unique composition of biochar, plus our unique recipe of natural biology, and minerals can provide numerous benefits for plants, soil, and the environment.

When added to soil, biochar can help to improve soil health and fertility in a number of ways. Firstly, biochar is highly porous and has a large surface area, which means it can hold onto water and nutrients, making them available to plants for longer periods. This can help to reduce the need for frequent watering and fertilisation, leading to healthier and more productive plants.

Biochar is a highly stable form of carbon, which means it can remain in the soil for hundreds or even thousands of years. This can help to sequester carbon in the soil, which can help to mitigate climate change by reducing the amount of carbon in the atmosphere. Additionally, biochar has a high cation exchange capacity (CEC), which means it can attract and hold onto positively charged nutrients like calcium, potassium, and magnesium. This can help to prevent these nutrients from leaching out of the soil and becoming unavailable to plants, leading to healthier and more productive crops.
