The main component of our organic seed compost is coir which is a natural fibre from the outer husk of a coconut and a natural alternative to peat and is far more sustainable and environmentally friendly option. Added to this is our special blend of UK sourced biochar and natural biology, along with plant derived organic fertiliser. As our compost is 100% made from natural products and is organic, it is safe for all animals. Our seed compost is designed especially for growing seeds containing the ideal amount of fertiliser to ensure perfect propagation of your seeds.

We also offer All Purpose Compost which is Peat Free and ideal as a next stage to your seed compost. It is available in bags ranging from 10L right through to 1000L bulk bags.
When it’s time to plant out or pot on, your transplanted seedlings will “take” quickly in their growing positions – especially if the ground or substrate has been prepared using our Biochar Soil Improver.

Standard postage and packaging is charged at £8.99 up to 20kg in weight. Any additional weight will be charged at a rate of £8.99 per additional 20kg. Any offer on delivery charges can override these charges
We anticipate that orders will be dispatched within 2 workings day of the order being placed, with a 2-3 working day delivery time. Orders will be fulfilled by DPD. Orders over 100kg will be dispatched on a pallet on a 3-5 day economy delivery.

What is the white bloom on the top of my compost?
Growing mediums can be subject to mineralisation, reducing the plant’s ability to absorb nutrients. To combat this issue, make sure your product is in an environment with ample light and lower heat or humidity levels.

Why are the leaves on my plants going yellow?
When using any coir based Compost over-watering can be a common mistake. Coir and biochar retain water better than most other varieties of compost – probing beyond just its exterior surface; you may find that although the top layer looks dry and parched, beneath lies plenty of hydration essential for healthy plants.
