Carbon Gold makes use of sustainably sourced and produced biochar in all of its products. We currently have three products for gardeners and horticulturalists.

Our biochar complex contains 1.2 kgs of biochar, enriched with growth enhancing additives and can be used as a soil improver; as a compost additive; or is sprinkled directly under trees or vegetable transplants.

Carbon Gold All Purpose Biochar Compost
£8.99per 20 litre bag

Our All Purpose Biochar Compost can be used as a growing medium for propagation; as a soil amendment; and as a potting compost. Each 20 litre bag contains the equivalent of a box of GroChar® to provide the main structure. It also contains: Organic coir, a coconut processing by-product, which acts as a peat replacement; a mix of organic, vegetable-based nutrients; Mycorrhizal fungi to maximise the take up of nutrients by plant root systems; Wormcasts, to provide viable Actinomycetes bacteria that support Mycorrhizal activity and kelp seaweed to promote vigour and disease resistance.

Our soil compost will get seeds off to a stronger start – the added mycorrhizal fungi and wormcasts help ensure high germination rates, that early root formation is healthy and that transplants ‘take’ quickly when potted on or planted out.
