Carbon Gold’s projects are primarily designed to produce biochar as a raw material, either to be sold back into the area where it was produced, or to support our activities in the Retail and Horticultural markets. These projects also generate carbon credits which are sold directly to retail and business customers.
Carbon Gold currently has projects underway in various locations in Britain as well as in Belize, Mozambique, and the Maldives. The company has identified additional, larger projects in the Dominican Republic, Ghana, and NIgeria. With these projects woody biomass is converted into biochar and then incorporated into the soil.
